The sunlight was coming directly from behind this Eristalis Tenax dronefly feeding on a ragwort flower, at the local nature reserve, Brockholes, in Preston. You can see the pollen on the eyes - but the sun is coming right through the orange segments of the body, and a pleasing rim-light on the hairs finishes it off.
