Tried to search but didn't find what I needed.

Is the PSCS to PSCS2 upgrade worth the money? Major improvements?

Seems like I read where PSCS2 is actually slower - Is this true?

Thanks,
Greg

Hey, Bodley, what are in such a rush about? Settle down, Francis!

IMO, yes, it's worth it. More so than CS was.

Wife is going in for surgery tomorrow, thought I might carry her laptop (my Christmas present to her) and catch up on some T&I's which haven't been completed yet while waiting. Cannot find my PSCS disk and cannot download PSCS but could upgrade PSCS2 and download the product. Adobe gave me my serial number, nice folks, to make it work but I didn't really want to upgrade unless there were significant improvements in PSCS2.

Well, I'm not going to be much help because I don't remember all the reasons why it's so much better, but here's a few:

ACR is much improved, Bridge is a standalone app, perspective clone....uh....that's all I can think of right now....I'm sure there's tons more.

Why not just download the trial and see if you think it's worth it?

I tried the demo version. Bridge is very useful.

And yes, I found it ran much, much more slowly on my machine. In fact, that's the reason I haven't upgraded. To do so will probably also involve buying a new computer, and I didn't think CS2 had enough benefits to warrant that.

    I'm on a Pentium 2.6mhz, 1 GB of memory.
