the newest: Andrew *on the left* is 4 months old. its his first christmas.

    The first one is just loely, and the stunned look on the 4 month old's face says it all i thinkrolleyes1.gif.

    what are you looking for? those are some great shots to make some mom's smile, cute kids, but you already know that. Technically, couple of nits: rough lighting, bit of blown-out flash-face syndrome on them.

    And something about that second shot, did you crop the heck out it or push it to the limit with a post-process exposure compensation? It looks super grainy, just wondering why.

    I don't think people commented as family snapshots aren't as appreciated by outsiders who have no connection to the people. Family snapshots generally aren't photographically good -- but then again, that's not their purpose.

    Shot with my Christmas present, the Sigma 30mm f1.4 -- also of some interest, I used the lightsphere which really helps with those indoor flash photos.
