I think this is a Female Episyrphus balteatus (from http://syrphidae.3644.co.uk/srph/eps.html).
Insectivorous Diner. I have toyed with a clockwise rotation but preferred to leave it in the position I photographed it.
Male Orb Weaver that was in our house. Second one I've found so far. Normally it's the Giant house spiders that come in.
Crop.
