In an effort to make the white text in my captions more visible, I went to the entire page customize portion of my site (www.smugmug.avman.com or tomdphotos.com) today and entered a background color of black and used the alpha channel setting of 15% so my background image would not be completely hidden. Works great in FF. Even my copy of IE 10 64bit works great. Haven't tried any other browsers on my computer. My wife's computer is using Win XP therefore only has IE 8 (her preferred). When I went to look at my site on her computer, the background hides the background image. My question(s), is code available to display the background image with the black background at 15%? I also saw a "thumbs up" image under my photos in IE 10 on my computer, I think where the old comment button used to be. Did not see that on FF. Can anyone explain that to me? Thank you in advance for the help...

I really don't have anything nifty to say so I will remain quiet and observe!
