A Face That Could Stop a Train?? Ann Marie
That's not usually a compliment but with Ann Marie in the image you might think differently. LOL
By the way I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW that train tracks are considered cliché, but I love the lines in these images. Besides, could a thing become a cliché because it works so well?
2. Can she get them to stop?
3.How about with that gorgeous smile?
4. How about we try some leg?
5. Does she hear one coming?
6. Ready and even the signals want them to stop.
7. OK, how about Plan B

As far as tracks go, I do think they are cliched so I avoid them. I have only shot once at the tracks and just don't plan on doing that again. There are other ways of getting the lines like dirt roads, repeating patterns on a sidewalk etc.
From a practical and legal perspective, it is trespassing. So, if I have a shoot that goes bad like an injury with someone twisting an ankle or worse, my insurance will not cover it. Second, railways will go after a photographer if they see the pics and recognize the section of track it is on. Third, there is the danger of getting hit by a train. They do not stop quickly. I just do not think it is worth it.

I rarely use train tracks but this set cried out for them. I do love the receding lines and the concept was "chic bohemian/hobo" so it seemed to work. The other side of the tracks had commercial garbage dumpsters all along the ROW so that just didn't work without hours of PP which I am too lazy to do. You'll see her as boho chic in town tomorrow.
Hey, at least I blurred out the BKG for all of you here. OL
As to the legal stuff, your point is well taken. However, at this spot there were no fences to climb and no signs at all. As a former (30 year) LE and a lawyer, I wasn't terribly worried about anything other than being told to move along which, of course, I would have done. We also had 1/4 mile of visibility in both directions and a crossing gate 100 feet behind me to let us know what was coming. Also, notice the signals are both red. A freight had just passed going behind her and anything coming our way would have had to be really slow or on that siding you can see in mid distance.
Again, thanks for the comments.
