Sequential Scrolling Backgrounds

I am revamping my website to include a sales landing page that tells a story as you scroll down to options and services for purchase.

I would like to use backgrounds to represent pages as one moves through the story.

This site has a great example: http://creativefreedomguide.com/

I would mix 'pages' of color with images.

I thought one way might be to create the sequence in photo shop and then insert that as my background page. But when I tried this the image was fixed in one location and I was missing scroll bars.

I would like to think something like this is possible with Smugmug?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate the help!

Well if it's a background and you don't have content to fill the page it will only show the background to the point where the content ends. What may work better would be using that image as a photo on the site, in a Journal style gallery so it displays. Or upload that image to a different gallery and set up a page and add that as a single photo content block.

Thank-you for your reply. There would be content placed over all of it. I get what you are saying though. I tried adding this photo which is just a test to a new page. I will try the single photo content block but I believe it won't stretch all the way across the page. Will give it a shot though.
