What to do with RAW files bigger than 50MB?

I am using SmugMug to back up my Lightroom Catalog. For each event in the catalog I create a gallery and upload it. The problem is that all of the RAW files bigger than 50MB are rejected - and hence not backed up. I'm shooting a D800E and the average raw file is about 40MB, but at an event where I shoot 500 photos, 20 or 30 will be over 50MB.
Is there an easy way to back up these photos without exporting them as JPEGs and then pulling them back in? I'd like to keep them in RAW format to facilitate post processing.

We have an add-on service called SmugVault. When you add a SmugVault to your account, you can upload any file type up to 3gb.
Here are several links explaining more about the SmugVault, and how to get one. http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93324-what-is-a-smugvault-?b_id=1644 and http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/84562-more-about-smugvault?b_id=1644
Without a Smug vault, you can add an unlimited number of JPEG, GIF, and PNG files to your SmugMug account. The current size limitations on photos for all users are: 50 megabytes and 100 megapixels.
I hope this helps. If we can be of any further assistance, please shoot an email to help@smugmug.com and a Support Hero will get right back to you.

I found that I pay significantly less for my backup using CrashPlan (http://www.code42.com/crashplan/). I was using Amazon S3 and paying a lot per month; I switched to CrashPlan and am now paying $59.99 per year. You can see some discussion on CrashPlan in the thread Cloud as third backup point.
