Download button refuses to appear to guests

For some reason, the download button (down arrow) between tools and info buttons refuses to appear to guests in only 1 of 17 galleries.

I've been trying to use the following path to turn it on.
Gallery > Organize > Settings > Social > Show Share Options share "on".

What am I doing wrong?

Have you allowed access to the Original-sized images? The download button will only appear if you allow access to Originals and have right click "protection" off.

From the help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93266-can-i-download-photos-from-my-smugmug-site-to-print-myself-:

If you're logged in as account owner, you can always download your own photos.

Your visitor will, too, when the gallery owner has the "Largest size" option set to "Original" in their gallery settings and has right-click protection disabled.

Denise, have you observed the "allow access to originals" checkbox getting switched off by itself? One of my photographers had one of his dozens of galleries that did not allow access to originals, and he swears he didn't turn if off himself.

(Not a big deal, just curious. I'm still more willing to believe User Error than software error.)
