Paragraph break

Whenever I hit Return for a paragraph break by default there is a space between the two paragraphs. What should I do to eliminate the space between the 2 paragraphs?

Text block spacing is discussed in the thread Problem with line spacing. Hitting enter gives you a paragraph return with 2 spaces. If you only want one space, hit shift + return (ctrl + return if using safari).

I use an HTML block for text instead of using a text block.

Hmm, I think it's this unless the behavior was changed:
Enter = 1.5 line space (as paragraph spacing)
Shift+Enter = single line space
Shift+Enter/Shift+Enter = Double line space.
