Met Cynthia by happenstance. She's from California but was visiting my very own town for 2 weeks and we connected on Mayhem.

As with Nicole, she's what I call a "Teflon model" (non-stick), not "model thin" or "model tall" but I think her confidence and expressions make her beautiful.

A nice set and a good job , although I have some remarks/observations.

First the model, I seldom make a comment on a model itself , We are who we are and we all have beauty in some sort. Hence it is the role of the photographer to bring the model in the best possible way and place the emphasizes on the better elements of the model.

Take for instance pic 7, a lovely girl laying down on a tree. the body and tree become one and create a massive block, it emphasizes the wrong aspects of the model. Yes she is pretty, and not that slim as you stated (nothing wrong with not been slim), but buy laying down on a large object (tree) with simular color tones makes the model even less slim. If she would have lifted the body a little so that an airgap would occeur between the body and the tree with a back light then the effect would slim the model down.

Pic 8, a great shot. However you are dealing with a short person (the model). Because of the shooting position (kind of midway in respect to the model) she did not grow as we call it. Taken a very low shooting position and slightly pointing upwards, would create the impression of a taller model.

Pic 6, short people are better of on a photograph with stretched legs and if possible pointed feet. Bending the knee's so that the upper and lower legs start to touch makes the legs bigger (volume) and shorter.

    The Look:

You got some great locations and idea's , however the model has in almost every shot the same expression…(with an exception)…for sure it is not easy for the model to change that….but with a bit of push from the photographer that should be possible (you did it in front of the window).

The last picture, hmmmm it makes me think of those apps like picture/portrait perfect. Just a bit over the top in post processing for my tatste, But then again that is just me, and I have no taste (well that is at least what my girlfriend says).

I all might sound a bit negative, but it is not. It is a great set and a good job with a not so easy model….well done

    Thanks as always D3.

Regarding the "log" images, you might like this one better.
