A 1st Instar stage Green Shieldbug.

It was awkward to get because it was so mobile for its size, but managed 4 quick shots.

First two on a agapanthus leaf, and the last on a nearby nettle.

The backgrounds are two things- the paler browns are from the wheelie bin we put the garden waste into which is to much for the compost bin, and the richer brown is the garden fence (which has been Cuprinol painted, but in truth, needs doing again!).
