MIssion at La Garita

This is an old Spanish mission church in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. The church is located in La Garita, CO and is the only church west of the Mississippi River (so I'm told) that has a six-sided cross atop it so travelers from every direction know that this is a Catholic church. In front is a Stations of the Cross that patrons are able to walk. This is my first attempt at stitching together a panorama (8 shots). I shot this on Easter Sunday (2013), but only recently have figured out how to post images. The color that day was very flat and boring so I converted it to b/w. C&C welcome and appreciated.

You did good on both the stitching and the BW conversion.

Thanks Mike. I use CS2 for stitching and Nik SilverEfex for the conversion.

I thought I was the only one that still uses CS2....!!

I used it up until it started rejecting my serial number then I switched to elements 12 plus lightroom.

Great image, I agree that the b/w conversion here is really nice. This makes a great b/w pano!

Great shot, I really like that you presented it as a pano. I am going to have to purchase the nix software, it seems to do a great job on B&W conversions

Thanks! I had used the 14 day trial but haven't had a chance to purchase the software yet myself.
