Embedding a Google Map

Hey There:

I was hoping to embed a google map into my website but can't quite figure out how to include this code from Goggle in the HTML block. Is there some code I have to put around it, because it doesn't seem to display the map?

Hello Reija! You can request that a Google Maps content block be added via the SmugMug feature requests site here: http://feedback.smugmug.com/forums/17723-smugmug?query=google%20maps or via the Dgrin Forum here: http://dgrin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=63 if you haven't already. I also would find the ability to embed Google Maps to be useful. If you truly desire it, there is a temporary workaround.
1. Screenshot the section of google maps that you wish to display and upload it to where you store your site files on SmugMug.
2. Copy the URL in the browser from the google map search to your location.
3. Use a photo content block to place the map where you wish and be sure to set it to display at original or the next smallest size for a clearer image.
4. In the photo content block settings, Change 'action on click' to 'go to url' and paste in the url.
5. Preview or publish and your temporary Google Maps is active! Now local visitors will quickly know your location and others can click for directions in Google Maps!
