A Rustic Wedding at Allaire - Ryan + Kait

I've known Ryan since high school, and he's such a great dude. He met Kait in high school, and they have been dating ever since. Did I mention they went viral on the internet the day after their wedding? Ryan's wedding gift to his wife was a kiss from Steve Gerrard. What a guy!
Shooting this wedding was extremely important to me. I have been second shooting for two years with some extremely talented photographers, so I felt like I was finally confident to gear up and enter the wedding world. This is my second wedding as a primary (the last time I shot as a primary was two years ago). And everything that could go wrong totally happened: a guest had a heart attack during family portraits (and lived!), hotel accidentally gave the bridal suite to another family, a person cracked their head open on the dance floor, etc. So you know, now I feel like wedding veteran, and I think I aged about 10 years overnight. So, without further ado, here are the moments I was able to capture. And a HUGE thank you to Brandon for second shooting with me. The rest can be found on my blog.

Wow, thank you Matt! That means a lot coming from you, as I've always been a big fan of your work. As artists, we always try to push the limit whenever possible
Do you think there would be more added to the photo if hair spray was coming out of the bottle? I liked Kait's expression here. The shot could be executed better though.

Thank you! HEY! I liked that shot.
Thank you!
Thanks Qarik, I'm glad you enjoyed the set
Thanks Gaby, that means a lot! Everything was natural light except for the reception. I'm happy I had some solid light for the B&G pics!
I was very surprised at #67, with all of the guests gathered for a group shot. I've done shots like that at family gatherings, reunions, company picnics, and convention events, but I've never even heard of such a shot being done at a wedding. Very unusual and fun, though I bet it was like herding cats to get all of those people together in one spot after the booze started flowing!
