When I uploaded my first set of photos and then went to settings for the gallery I was able to create a watermark. However, it is huge and I want to change it but I can't figure out how to edit the watermark only how to remove it or change to default.

Please help,
C

    Hi C,

You will need to create a new {smaller} watermark and then upload it to your SmugMug account.

We have a great step-by-step article on how to create a watermark using Adobe Photoshop:

    http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93156-how-do-i-create-transparent-watermarks-

If you do not have Photoshop - you can use Gimp - which is completely free:

    http://www.gimp.org/

After you have created your watermark and uploaded it to your account - you will need to turn it in to a watermark:

    http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93343-how-do-i-watermark-photos-?b_id=1644

In your gallery settings you will need to change the watermark - to have the new watermark appear on new images that you upload.

The gallery settings change will only work on images that will be uploaded after you have made that change.

In this situation you will need to re-watermark your photos manually .* Please open the site organizer - select a gallery, where you would like to watermark your photos - click the wrench tool -* watermarks - (this will open a new page) here you can manually add or remove from all or selected images.

Okay so that worked, I now have numerous watermarks. However, none will work. I have tried using the gallery settings and the select all then the wrench, etc. I have applied it multiples times and tried each one and nothing? This all happened after I set my new watermark but then decided it was to light so I changed the opacity to less and not now of the watermarks, including default will show.

To watermark existing photos in a gallery, always use the organize screen > select the photos > wrench button > watermarks tool. Note that it may take a while for watermarks to get applied.

If you're still having an issue and made sure to use the organize > wrench > watermarks tool, include a link to the gallery in question and let us know of the name of the watermark you last tried to apply.
