OMG Smugmug! What did you do?

I have been working on uploading a ton of photos and videos to smugmug and clearing them off my home computer. I want to be able to show them but I don't need to do any more editing to them so I don't need them taking up any more space.

The problem is all the photos that I uploaded last night were destroyed by smugmug! That's right, I don't know what is going on with your service, but take a look at what happened to the blacks.

I thought Smugmug was supposed to be a reliable place to archive my shots! I'm very angry about this. What is going on and how can this be fixed?

Can you send us links to the galleries without using the organize view? Go out off the organizer and give us the link to the gallery you find. That will give us links we can use to see the galleries you are referring to.

You can actually convert those to regular links by removing the "/organize" bit from the front:

You're going to have to be more specific about what happened to the blacks. They look fine to me, but of course I have no way to know what your photos originally looked like.

You can get a 1TB external hard drive for $60-$70 to store your photos. No way would I depend on Smugmug (or anyone else) to store original versions of my files.

I took a look at your links and all the blacks are showing clear and solid. I have included a screenshot of what I am seeing below.

Can you provide some example screenshots of the original file and the difference you are seeing on SmugMug, so that we can assist you with this further.
