Hoverfly enjoying pollen bath

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I can only upload the one picture right now, I'm obviously missing something here but anyway, the specimen below is a "footballer" hoverfly, of which there are countless numbers of at my local nature reserve.
I missed the focus between the eyes unfortunately but did manage to get that rather meaty proboscis in focus a little!
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Brian . Having difficulty getting fill flash mastered, need to get rid of these dark backgrounds!
Thanks stumblebum. Not sure how but I didn't even notice the proboscis untill I ran it through lightroom

It's not always easy t get the whole face in focus unless you reduce mag, change plane or focus stack due to the extremely narrow DoF.
With regards to background, I tend to shoot at ISO 250 all the time. I find this allows the backgrounds to be much brighter (have a look at some recent posts of mine - not been in the country for a week so will need to go back a few pages).
