I love the composition and the processing. Excellent work, Eric.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Well seen! I really like the repetitive pattern of the couples in the chairs approaching.

Good one. The composition is excellent. Each couple is easily distinguished, which is no small feat in a scene this complicated. Well done thumb.gif

Thank-you Cristóbal... it was a thick, but bright, overcast - makes for a nice neutral background.

Thanks very much Richard... yes, I'm glad to have recognized that just the right angle would capture each carriage more-or-less separately, with telephoto compression providing a long DOF.

Thank-you Ian... yup, most of them looked stoked - except that guy in 06... might be that his wife "made" him do it... :D

btw, you wouldn't get me in one of those things - look how small the part is that connects to the cable. eek7.gif

Wonderful image Eric. With its simplicity and space this would look really good in poster size.

    Thank-you much for commenting Sara.

And, it's nice to see you posting - it's been pretty quiet in the forum without many of the veterans and regulars around these days - us noobs can't carry all the water.... :D

I know - I've not been around these parts much lately. I should be spending a little more time here - thanks for the nudge. :D

Driving back from Denver to Florida some years back, I stopped at a place ( still in Colorado ) offering tram rides to a high peak. At the time, I told my wife that the whole affair appeared pretty rickety to me but I rode it anyway. A couple of weeks later, I read in the paper that the very same tram ride had cables snap....killing several folks and wounding a bunch more. I haven't been on one since.
