Sales Tax

I'm new to the forum, and please excuse me if there is a thread on Sales Tax somewhere else (I searched on "sales tax" and "tax" but didn't see one).

I'm curious how other photographers handle Sales Tax. I don't find the capabilities in SmugMug adequate. For instance, in my region, there is a different Sales Tax by town, and within a 30 mile radius there are probably 4+ towns.

Also, if I travel to another state to shoot a wedding, and then have photos ordered from buyers in that other state, I need to pay sales tax.

So, do most people turn Sales Tax collection off and "roll it into the price" or are there any other ideas you have. I would do self fulfillment if it was offered by SmugMug which I think would give me a lot more control over the process.
