Wildflowers outside of Flagstaff last weekend. The Phoenix media snookered me into believing there were miles of wild flowers in bloom along hwy 180. Reality was just a couple fields were in bloom, right outside of town. Oh well, it turned out to be a nice camping trip anyway. :dunno

    Nice ones. I was up there recently and there were masses of flowers on back roads off of highway 89.

    Thanks for comments. Lesson learned on listening to just a news report. I should know better. I know there many resources out there that will tell what flowers are blooming and where around Arizona. Next time I will do my own research before heading out. Still a fun trip though so no worries.
