I found this weevil walking across the flagstone path in the garden, so I guided it onto a piece of broken brick off the soil to get a better background than slate slate grey. They are nasty insects for the plants, but have strange heads - best seen large in the third image. Almost reminds me of a whiskers long-nosed old dog!

Cracking shots Paul. Darn shiny things they can be and the odd shape and dark colour seems to mess up focus at times. These are very nicely done.
