question on coupons - digital downloads

Hi all,
I have only created a coupon a couple of times and what I'm trying to do is a little out of the normal.
I photographed a Charity fund raising ball where I have applied a typical price list that includes prints and the option to purchase a digital download.
I want to create a coupon for the staff and volunteers on the night so they can download a digital copy free of charge.
Is this possible? I couldn't see a way of being able to create this.

There's no way to restrict a coupon so that it's only used for specific products (such as downloads). Your best bet may be to create an "Amount Off" coupon for the exact amount of a download, and then give this coupon to participants so they can get a free download.

I would think because of above posts is to have each person email you the photo they
want and attach it to the reply email.

Really depends if you want to minimize back/forth emails, and put in the legwork up-front, or after the fact. Also, depends how many volunteers/staff you plan on distributing the photos too. Since we don't allow for bulk coupon creation, coupons wouldn't be feasible for a huge number of people.
