Changing the account

Hi,

I just renewed my billing information but I may want to switch to the portfolio type account.

The difference is that now I'm using a feature that in the "portfolio" type will not be available:
"Create custom pricelists to accommodate every client"

I'm not sure what this really mean - can you please explain,

With a Business Account, you can assign different Pricelists to different Galleries. For instance, you might have Client A, and Client B. You can assign Pricelist A to Client A, and Pricelist B to Client B - so they have different prices. With a Portfolio Account, you can only have one active Pricelist - so Client A and Client B would both have the same Default Pricelist pricing (that you've set-up). That's the main difference.

The reason that I have a business account is to have watermarks - another difference.

Portfolio has watermarks, at least mine does.

What AperturePlus meant was "custom" watermarks rather than Smugmug's default watermark.

I have the Portfolio account and it allows you to use 'custom' watermarks, which I use.

Exactly, that ability has always been part of Portfolio level.
