I like the look & feel that the Sepia tone gives the pic. You captured an interesting scene, but the blurry foreground couple are very distracting. I think a foreground head more in focus and off to the side might work. I do like the faces in the crowd, I always wonder where they are headed and what they're thinking.

And look again... wow you're right. I'm so tempted to put cartoon bubbles over their heads and put captions in them.

Wonder if we'd pick on the same people to put similar captions?

What do we see by expression on face, body language, dress?

Welcome to Dgrin ! I like the sepia tone, but have to agree with eye-max - the heads in the foreground especially the cropped and blurred head of the woman is quite distracting from the rest of the folks who seem to be the subject here. maybe a wider angle from the back ? the crowd seems quite nicely oblivious to your camera :) where is this ?

Thanks for all the comments. I wish the woman's head wasnt there, but...

This is a crossing near Trinity college in Dublin (forget the name of the road). Anyways, here is another attempt with a smaller crop. I think I prefer the one with the blurred head.

    Hi Ankit,
I actually like this one much better. I do get the feeling of being hurried in the original, but it's too busy.

This one introduces us to the people. We see their expressions, most not being all that happy. What I really enjoyed with this shot is in all the hustle and bustle, look at the couple in the center; they're holding hands and are the only ones I saw with somewhat of a smile. It pulls them out of the crowd, but they are lost in the original. This shot is now about the people whereas the original is not.

I like it, thanks for sharing,
    Chris

much better Ankit ! I agree with Chris - you're really drawn to the people here - especially the young cute couple in the middle with a hint of a smile..the others too -more than ever, u feel like putting cartoon captions to them ! I like the little walk sign too that i missed earlier ! the only thing you miss from the previous pic is seeing their legs but you can't have it all !

nod.gif that crop is nice, I love all the detail in the faces without the blurry back of the head feature distracting me.
