Darter dragonfly sitting on a fence facing away from the sun. Decided to try some natural light/fill flash shots. All focus stacked using zerene.

Thanks for the comments SB and Dan - appreciated :
Dan, No I was in TV (shutter priority) mode for this so the exposure was for daylight and yes I did use the flash with a little -ve FEC. I needed a bit of front flash as the dragonfly was facing away from the sun.

Can you explain the settings for 'natural light/fill flash'? did you just dial down the FEC and keep your normal manual settings, or something else?
Many thanks.
