Allow site owner to specify watermark to be used as "default"

If I turn watermarking on for a gallery and forget to explicitly select one of my watermarks the default Smug PROOF watermark is used. I never want to see PROOF on my photos!

The site owner should be able to specify a watermark to be used as the default watermark.

Totally agree with this. I've gotten caught the same way. Also deleted an old watermark and ended up with PROOF as a watermark.thumb.gif

    Denise,
You are correct, the "Default" watermark is "Proof" and there is currently no way to set on all photos. Each gallery must have its watermark selected. I see a number of requests for something similar on the UserVoice but I don't see this specific request. In the mean time, you might be able to slightly get around this extra step by including it in part of the Quick Settings.

    Thanks.

The problem was caused by my not properly selecting the Quick Setting when I created a gallery. I usually use a quick setting (that has the proper watermark specified) but somehow missed setting it - and didn't notice until the gallery was loaded with the incorrect watermark. That's easily fixed but it should never happen.

I think my missing the quick setting is because it isn't in a logical place in the workflow - that should be the first thing I see, not the last.

    Another good suggestion.
