How Much Customization Question

Hi,

I'm brand new to smugmug and haven't decided to open an account yet. I was curious if someone can tell me how much customization is possible? I have quite a bit of coding experience and would like to be able to build something with my own HTML/CSS/Javascript ect. Is this possible with smugmug? Or are you given templates which you have to design off of with widgets etc? Thanks.

You can do a lot of customization. But since you asked... you cannot use JavaScript in your customizations.

There is an awful lot you can do but I think it would be best if you listed some things you would want to do, because it might be easier that way to flush out the "can'ts".

Other than the fact you can't use Javascript, you can do anything, especially if you have the skills in HTML/CSS.

I picked a theme (Sierra) and I went to town and customized it to match my WordPress site. You can take a look at my two sites in my signature below.
