I've got a few sparrows in my back yard that have gotten accustomed to me as well. It's cool to be able to watch them so closely.

    Very nice capture Troy!

rolleyes1.gifI know what u mean ! I just started this bird thing sometime this year, and already it seems like there's nothing more wonderful than getting a bird in perfect focus etc! And you've managed that here very well ! Very nice !

    that begs the question ??
I like most if not all your little birdie posts, sharp, exp, detail, comp is pretty much there (no one's perfect)
So the question what is your definiton of a great birdie shot, I know what mine is.

a great pic is one that besides exhibiting great quality ( details, composition) it should also tell a story or strike an emotional note with the viewer. I think the qulaity of my images are very good but the feeling is flat...ne_nau.gif

also in my quest to get the most detail in the bird, ive found that ive isolated him / her maybe too much from it's environment. but i had to learn that on my own....

this is starting to appeal more to me 49970428-S.jpg

Harry and bird man have big birds to pet and you are making friends with the little ones.

Cool. I do love your little birdie shots. You have a real challenge in the environment thing, they are so small and flit behind twigs. It will keep you busy, give you a goal and make you very sick (bird flu)

    Very nice shots!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
