Had a chance to visit the new Georgia Aquarium last week. It is truly awesome and a must see if you get to Atlanta. This is one of the two whale sharks on exhibit. Now 16 feet, he will grow to be the size of a school bus.

I love the little fishes swimming in front of the shark all in a row like that! Great timing!

Very nice...no glare, and good exposer.

Now if only I can drag myself there I would prefer it not to be busy.

    Was it still really crowded?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    thanks for the comments!

Dee: I agree, the little fish swimming in front help make the shot.

Shannon: it was very crowded getting into the aquarium but once you're inside, it really opens up. Definitely go!

Troy: would definitely not want to meet this guy while snorkeling. Eats only krill, not humans. But just the same....

Very cool. I've actually been up close to one of the in the Timor Sea. They are truly a gentle giant and an amazing creature.
