Hello need to hear from people who have a smugmug site.... size?

Hello all...

i have google it i have asked a smugmug surport etc etc ...
when i upload my pic's i am in lightroom and export to Long 1300 pix and 240 Res i was told of a smugmug team person that i need to upload it at 240 rez and the pix was up to me..

but i like to hear what people are uploading to ? :barb

I would imagine the majority of Smugmug users are uploading their original full size images.
Given that you are paying for a premium storage solution on top of all the other features that Smugmug provides, why wouldn't you upload the full size.

Remember, that you can limit the viewing size for visitors and add watermarks through account settings, so there is no risk of anyone downloading your original full res images.

Keep in mind that watermarks are only available for Portfolio and Business account levels.

I agree with Shinrya - upload your full resolution images.

I export from lightroom with a size of 95%. The Smug help recommends 90% but then suggests 80 if you are trying to minimize upload speed.
