Digital Photo Frames? Yes or No?

I see a lot of people post photos here with little photo frames added to them. Sometimes they add a signature or maybe the company name or copyright info.

I'm wondering what your thoughts are of this. Do you like photos better if they have a frame? Why or why not? Do you think it adds or subtracts from an image or or doesn't effect it one way or the other? Do you think it looks "amateur" or "professional"

Interested in your takes on this. I'll save my personal opinions for now.
What if the Hokey Pokey REALLY IS what it's all about?

Do you like images more if they have a "photo frame"? 24 votes

If you choose to do it, keep it subtle. The frame should frame the piccie and help make the piccie better, not draw attention to itself.

The poll doesn't have a spot for "sometimes, when it complimants the image"

I feel if you add a frame the frame is not part of the layout of the picture. So it should not distract from the picture.
