September Supermoon as seen from my part of the world

This was only the second time I've tried to capture moon pictures of any kind and I know I have much room to improve. But I liked these 2 shots well enough to want to share. First is the moonrise - just creeping up over the mountain, this new moon says hello to the old tree snag.

I wanted to get a similar shot of the moon dipping behind the mountain the next morning, but the foggy haze hovering over the mountains was beginning to hide any details in the moon. I got this shot before it became lost in the mist.
