Round the corners of a sidebar?

Has anyone rounded the corners of a sidebar? I've been trying to it using this code. I'm trying to modify the right sidebar on my homepage.

.sm-page-layout-region .sm-page-layout-region-right {     
    border-radius: 10px;
 }

I have not personally done this, but I see no reason for it to fail. It may not be cross-browser compatible.
