Here is another shot of our "summer backyard". The mountains got a dusting September 10th.

Dynamite shot, pard. Sure makes me want to be there to share it with you guys. That 'Summer Backyard' will soon be a 'Winter wonderland'. I could handle that as well.

    See you,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Well Pard,

There's a spot up here just waiting for you next summer...

Unfortunately, I hope that I'm moving on before the "Winter Wonderland" sets in. I forgot to order a snow plow for my RV eek7.gif

I love the way the clouds sit in the small valleys. Adds a lot to the picture.

    Thanks Ian,

I just missed the killer scene. My dog woke me up, and when I looked out the clouds were a beautiful orange behind the mountains. By the time I could pull on my pants and shoes, this is the scene that was left. Mind you, it's still a nice scene as is.

As always, thanks for looking and commenting!

Who in their right mind wants to wake up up to this barren, dark cold desolation in the middle of nowhere with nothing?

Just because I like ya, and I am concerned for your well being, I would reluctantly be willing to spend some time there when your not using the place to make sure it's looked after.

    No..........don't thank me, it's what I do. :D

    Sam,

Because you put so much effort into helping others out, I'm more than willing to let you stay here in the Gunnison National Forrest all winter long!

Awesome Photo! Did you happen to submit this to Creative Live for critique for Photo Week? I'm almost positive I seen this on there Thursday. If not, then someone else got a shot from that same location around the same time.

    Thanks Gary,

No, I didn't submit it anywhere but here. I seriously doubt another photographer got the exact same shot. The scene was changing fast. I hope that it wasn't my image you saw there...
