Hovers and an Ex-Honey

Frustrating, I missed the focus on the eyes but I still like the image.



Better this time but perspective is a little awkward. Was unable to get a better one

This one stayed for one shot and left to fly into a neighbours garden




I tried a rotation on this and it just looked all wrong

Wonderful captures Ian. Your 2nd hoverfly is Didea fasciata a fairly rare find in my garden.

Haha Thank you SB, very kind of you to say. I've learned so much from Brian and Paul and many others over the years so I owe a lot of thanks to those guys too.
