One thing about Autumn here is large common garden orbweb spiders everywhere and some getting rather large.

SB, I'm not retired but work shifts so whilst the little guy is in school, I get a chance to have a nose around the garden. Keep rate is about 50% so don't lose too much time re-taking shots
