Last year this time we left for Montana to visit friends, then headed south to Yellowstone and on to the Tetons. The first 3 days in Grand Teton National Park the weather was sketchy at best. The 4th day broke with clearing skies, cold temps and nice clouds.
This image was captured 10/1/13.
The outlook for photos was improving, But WAIT, the budget didn't get passed, the parks closed, and everyone was told to leave.
This year will be better.

Love the light, scene, processing and the crop!
I know sometimes weather really sucks, but in general, bad weather is good for photography. Don't stop clicking if you think it is horrendouly overcast or gray or raining or whatever. Only harsh light or zero visibility fog are useless. Rest can yield something good! Cheers!!
