I don't mind the twigs, they kind of balance out the overhanging branches on the top left. Looks like you had a polarizer on there because of the dark area in the sky. I might be tempted to even that out some. Is this a multi-frame pano or a crop?

Actually, I read your post wrong. I thought you were talking about the grasses on the bottom right. You're right, the twigs on the upper left aren't adding anything now that you mention it, in particular the ones that are touching the left tower.
Surreal reflection and nicely punched up colors. The twigs add to the realism, and especially to the 3D effect. Technically, I keep wondering how you got them in focus, but no matter.
The mood is overall bright and happy, but there's something dark lurking on the right. Can this juxtaposition be emphasized? Should it be?
I really dig this shot, Sam. I don't know what caused the dark blue in the sky, but I'll tell ya', I never noticed it until it was pointed out. I LOVE the use of reflection and the framing.
As for the branches, I rather prefer them. They add a depth to the surrounding forest, helping to define a sense of a secret open clearing, while also lending to the concept that a human actually went to this place. That concept, I believe, is important because it gives me hope that I can find such a place, as a human on this crazy crowded rock.
Very lovely Photo - the reflection is fantastic. not sure about the twigs at the top . thought the dark area of the sky top right is good - maybe bit too much ??

Where is this?
Maybe the twigs at the top are can go...on blown up shot they are eye-pull. JMO.
