My friend Gary Greer was invited to participate in a show called "Wild Things" curated by Michael Hosaluk.
The show will premier at SOFA in Chicago late October and then move on to The Lightbox in New York City.
I volunteered to make the shipping containers which turned into Presentation Boxes :wink
Ivory Queen.

The boxes have maple bodies, curly maple tops and ebony handles.

Those knives are stunning. Do you know the price range of his pieces? Perhaps he has a website I can visit?
Now you've got to build a new box for each one to protect the box that was the original shipping box. Beautiful work.

Thanks Gary !
Thanks Tom, appreciate it.
I believe the gallery price of the most expensive knife is $2000. But that includes a box
No website to date, I keep offering but....
PM me if you would like to get in touch with Gary. These two shows are a one off thing and since Gary isn't normally represented by a Gallery the prices would be 50% less.
Thank You's...

Their presentation boxes are stunning. I absolutely love the way they're made.
Can you say anything about the steel or building of each?
Basically stainless steel, Rockwell 61ish and the more parts, the better
Many Midnights has 47 separate pieces...
Gary does all the work from grinding to heat treating.
His latest project was setting up a vacuum chamber to stabilize wood handle blanks by impregnating them with a resin.
Those will be used for his working knives line which sell in the $300 - $500 range.
