The extreme monsoon season here in Tucson, has exploded color onto Mount Lemmon. I have lived here 21 years, and have never seen anything like this. Normally, the mountain is grey and drab. What a treat :thumb

I think the first one wins on clarity and framing. More interest to the eye, and the haze in the second one doesn't seem to work very well with the colors, IMHO.

Beautiful scene! The rock in first one is playing some mind tricks on me. At times it appears like a valley below....like a sand pit....just me probably.

I prefer the first one also, Dan, but I might dial back the saturation in the sky just a light touch!

#1 is my fav Ian. Maybe a little hot in the sky? I've been to your area a few times and have never seen it looking so green. Love the monsoon season in the Southwest!
