Impromptu with Rachel
I had a shoot cancel last minute so I posted on the local model/photographer group on Facebook if anyone wanted to shoot. I got two responses. Rachel was the second one to respond and first to shoot. From the time she first contacted to actually shooting was about 2 hrs. These were all shot with a fuji-x100s.

Like every one except the last and only because her knees at the camera makes her shorter than she already is.

These would have been much better with your 70-200mm.

Thanks!
I see what you are saying. I applied a 4% reduction after reading your comment and it helped the proportions.
23mm is just a tough focal length for portraits. The occasional headshot can be good if you're lucky.

I really like the camera for the ability to use higher sync speeds. I am seriously thinking of getting the TC that makes it a 50 mm equivalent.
I think the fill-in lighting is a little harsh throughout for an overcast day. It also has very different temperature. This is especially jarring in #6. I'd probably dial down the flash a stop or two, and maybe use a filter.
As is, a B&W conversion would work great.

Thanks. For the flash, that was on purpose as I was underexposing 1-2 stops, compensating with light with the possibility of BW conversion. 6 is one I actually shot with BW conversion in mind, just didn't show it.
