Young Couple - Fail!

I've been stuck in a studio/studio's the past six months photographing children. I had an opportunity to take a young couple outside to do some shots Saturday morning.
I don't know if I'm rusty or the time constraints coupled with the nasty wind and rainy weather had me off my game, but I was really expecting more from this session.
I don't think they're horrid, but just not up to the expectations that I had envisioned for this shoot. I really had high hopes for this background location and am pretty dissapointed.
Wardrobe choices aside, the poses and overall look and feel leave me flat. I think I should have shot these at 150mm instead of 70mm and could have benefited from a bit more time to warm the couple up.
Comments welcome.
