Yes this was shot between Aptos and Santa Cruz, I took this around 4 weeks ago, it gone a bit quiet recently but we usually pick up in Anchovy and Sardine activity in the next few months. The shoals bring in whales, seals and dolphin as well as the usual sea birds and pelicans.
I would suggest parking in one of the state parks and walk the beach looking for one of the boils of fish in the early afternoon.
