Lightroom - Smugmug sync question

If i change the published (to Smugmug) photos in Lightroom, will they automatically sync to Smugmug? Or do i have to republish ? :scratch

    In the published folder the changed photos will be marked as "photos to re-publish", click the re-publish button and they will update
