Payment options for International Users

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there were plans to allow non US users the option to be paid each month via their bank accounts, or some other system that can avoid using PayPal.

Following my Smugmug payment the other day, PayPal have delightfully locked my account again for whatever made up reason they like to give. They really are the most useless company I've ever had to deal with, and not one I would like to use when it comes to dealing with my monthly payments from Smugmug.

I know that Squarespace are using 'Stripe' for dealing with payments and this sounds perfect for me. Regrettably, if problems continue to persist with PayPal then I will be forced to switch my website over to Squarespace though no fault of Smugmug's.

Just wanted to know if there were any other payment options out there for us international users?

Hi Peter,

PayPal is currently the only option for international Pros to get paid. I wish I had a different answer for you.

Thanks for your response. It's absolutely no fault of Smugmug, but I think that some people should be aware that should they have a particularly fortunate month with their sales through Smugmug, prepare for hell when it comes to getting that money out of PayPal.
