ever see a shot and work like crazy to take it and still you're not sure you got what you want? i about froze my fingers off tonight out by the shed. any input on the versions here? thanks for looking.

    There are some interesting textures in this picture. Ice needs light, from the side or back. Judging by the light patterns the light appears to be behind you to your left. Try it at another time of day. Perhaps zoom in tighter on the ice and exclude the eaves. icon10.gif I use tight fitting wool gloves to keep my fingers usable.icon10.gif

    you are right. there is a light on the garage right over my left shoulder. without that light, they don't show up. the green comes from the barn light, which is far off to the right...maybe today i will try it in the daylight......
