Marathon Photography Question

Hi - I had a photographer asked me if any type of software exists which can scan the image so to speak and recognize the bib and then assign the bib number in the meta-data (keywords).

Of course, once the process is completed, the photographer would upload the images - with the assigned bib numbers in the keywords - to SmugMug.

I don't have an answer to your question, but suggest you read about the patent covering the use of bib number to identify an event participant.

Really hoping this gets invalidated, but have not heard that has happened.
