Spooked!

Well was out yesterday and looking forward to photographing the Hooded Mergansers, but they did not seem to cooperate for me the way we wanted and so we decided to move around and see what we can find. I spotted a pair of Red-necked Grebes still around and not having much to do with the other birds in the area. One of them decided that it was not going to have the Hooded Merganser in the pond and dived down and the next thing it came up and spooked the Hooded Merganser away.
