Stereo On Blustery Day

Another cross-eye stereo. The circumstances gave increased depth to the 3D effect, in that the petals were blown towards the camera at the time the shutter was released.

The flower was about the size of the palm of my hand. Photographed on a day when the wind was gusting violently, with scarcely a pause - an interesting exercise! For the second shot of the pair, I tried to catch the petals in the same positions as in the first one. I still can't believe I did it. Luck sometimes plays a major part in photography. :barb

Kiron 105mm f16, 1/250 ISO 200, hand-held, daylight.

Thanks. Late afternoon sunlight. All that changed for the one on the right (left in real life) is I moved position slightly to one side and shot a.s.a.p. The technique is to lean to the left, centre and shoot, lean to the right, centre and shoot, making sure to maintain the same horizontal.
